Pastureland

Pastureland

$275.00

Description:

As you may guess, this blanket is named after the rich, grassy areas sheep love to graze on.  The tarragon green color is warm and wholesome and full of life.  Actually, our daughter, Elsie, has this colored blanket, the very first blanket I ever made!  And, it was woven in this same ‘Pastureland’ color.  This particular shade of green is wonderful as a gender neutral option for those who still like a hint of color!

Material:

-Handwoven to order just for you in my Michigan country home with the choicest 100% GOTS-certified organic Merino wool yarns that were hand-dyed in small lots with all-natural dyes.

-Each blanket is finished entirely by hand using an intricate process of both hand-weaving and felting, which allows your blanket to be solely comprised of this soft, breathable, spectacular Merino wool.

Care:

*Please note: our ‘Pastureland’ handwovens are hand-washable only.

New to handwashing?  Fear not!  Since Merino wool is antibacterial and odor resistant, your blanket therefore can be washed much less often than other blankets that are made of synthetic materials.  However, when washing your blanket is necessary, simply follow these basic instructions:

-Using only a gentle wool detergent, wash by hand in fresh tepid water (under 86°F, 30°C), separately, in a smooth basin or bowl that will not potentially snag your woven.

-Air dry.
